Is your friend working? 26 states requires SSN, if your friend is working on SSN required state, how she/he got it? Most of the RN position just required 2 year education how does the individual able to file H1B. Please try to answer as many question as you can. Thanks.

Thanks for starting this thread. I have just sent all the four letters even though I am not planning to use the AC21. But I feel sorry for fellow EB's who got rejected because few IO did not know about the AC-21. I get really :mad: P***** O** to see that ppl who are playing by rule have to face hardship at freak'n every stage of GC.

Hello ,
We both husband and wife are on H1 B's and working and her six years will be completed 2 yrs from today.
My wife does not plan to start her GC with her employer and now I want to include her when filing I-485.
Do I have to fill out a seperate I-485 form for her ?
Do I have to fill out a seperate I-765 form for her ?
Do I have to fill out a seperate I-131 form for her?
Do I have to fill out a seperate G-325 form for her ?
Do I have to file the support affidavit(I-864) for her ?
Please do take time to answer .

you have to fill separate forms for yourself and your wife
in your wife's application , a copy of approved I140 or pending receipt must be included and also the I -864
Marriage certificate should be in both the applications.

No. But the employer can file for 1 Year extension if there was a Labour or PERM was filed and it's pending. If I140 is approved and waiting for I485, employer can file for 3 year extension.

Actually, you can file 485 when your PD becomes current, even if the 140 is still pending approval. You need to submit the 140 details alongwith your 484 application.

Recently I got my I-20 and Now I will have to get F1 visa in order to register for classes. I don't have enough time to get my status changed from USA.Please can somebody tell me what will be the procedure of getting visa from Mexico or Canada? And how long this procedure takes ?
Please somebody guide me ...I am really in hurry..
It will be very risky and very likely your visa will be denied (and you will not be able to reenter US), especially because it is the first visa and not an extension. F-1 applicant's must overcome presupposition of immigration intent, especially the first time. In your case (applying from Canada/mexico; spouse already in US), you will have a hard time to convince the IO that you do not intend to immigrate to US.
Note that H1-B does not have that problem: it is a dual intent visa.
I do have a friend who successfully got his F-1 extended from London. But he was a late stage Ph.D. student from a very well known school, fully funded by assistantship, working on a very hot topic and single.

My employer is refusing to give me EB3 I-140 copy so I am stuck. Can I not port from EB3 with old employer to EB2 with new employer without copy of EB3 I-140 COPY.. It is a huge firm and they say it's against company policy to give me even a photocopy of the document, please advise.
Also, I am not planning to quit the old firm just file a new EB2 labour with new firm. I do not have copy of old I-140 for EB3, is there anyway I can still port my PD from EB3 to EB2. I do not want my old employer to find out about this. Is this possible ?

I came back to US from India vacation on 10-Sep-2007. My H1 Papers from Company-B got approved(on 5-Sep-2007) just before I start from India . So I could not show the new Company-B h1 papers at the Port of entry to the CBP officer. I got my new I-94 date based on the old Company-A H1 papers which is valid till 30-Sep-2007.
I red on the Immigration Forums that USCIS follows last action rule to determine the validity of I-94. In that scenario, the I-94 that comes with my new H1 paper gets invalidated. If it is true, am I out of status after 30-Sep-2007?
Could you please advice on my possible options on this issue?

It looks to me like they made a mistake on the valid dates for the new EAD. That happened to me last year, I received my new EAD card and it was only good for 1.5 months.
I had to mail them the card and after a couple of calls and some headaches they sent me a new EAD card, this time valid for 2 years.

i think you needed two light sources for this, one coming in from the left to lessen or remove the shadows. Some more DOF? Yes and No depends on what you're after. Flwoers of this colour are so hard to photo IMHO. Reds and flowers always give me grief. I like this rendition of the colour.. Were you happy?
Yes, I'm happy with the shot in general. I don't like using flash, but didn't have a choice on this one. I was battling heavy clouds and a building wind. I think I'll go back and shoot it again if the blooms are still in decent shape and try a bit more DOF. I also wish I'd noticed that little leaf on the bottom left. I hate when you think you've studied the entire field of view and then miss one little thing.
