I did masters and worked on OPT for sometime with Company A and they applied H1B,
still working for Company A as H1B as Senoir Programmer ANalyst.
At one point CompanyB filed GC process and I-140 approved as a IT Manager in EB2

This GDP growth because of the gov simulation: cash for cars, first time home buyer credit etc. we should not expect any steady recovery till 2011. I do not think employment creation will be happened on 2010.

- I came here in 1998 on F1
- Transferred to H1-B in 2002
- Filed for Labor Cert in 2005 (EB3) in Nevada
- I-140 approved in 2008
- I-485 pending for more then 180 days as of 2008
- EAD valid through 7/10/2009
- Got laid of in Feb 2009
- I got a job as an associate, a consultancy firm on W2 basis on Nov 17th, 2009 in WA
I have not done anything (i.e.informing the USCIS about job change etc.). I have the following questions.
- what documentation is required to be submitted to the USCIS about the new job.
- What kind of documentation is required from the employer vs myself
- When/how soon has this documentation is to be submitted
- When do i need to apply for my renewal of my EAD card
- What documentation is required to be submitted for the EAD renewal from employer vs myself
- Is it advisable to employ the services of an attorney if we run into issues.
- I worked on similar job for very short stints in between, but it was for a few weeks, does it endanger my case in anyway.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

My friend came to US on January through one bodyshopper on H1B visa and he was on project for 4 months.When his project is over and he is on bench then his employer forcing him to send him a email stating that he will be on leave without pay and immediately his employer stopped paying him salary from the day he was on bench.
Can any one please guide me that how to file complaint to DOL against his body shopper.
Also i wanted to know that will DOL take any against his body shopper and what information DOL will ask as currently my friend does not wanted to confront with his employer.

my existing company is NOT processing Green card. Also If i plan to switch to H1B again i would be elapsing nearly 5.9 months hence i won't have enough time to apply for Green Card. I am running out of choice now.

to be frank with you guys my friend have a good bank statment and business in his own country he wanna apply for a tourist visa and i recomended for him to have a hotels .... flight reservation but i am still confused about the purpose of the visit actually its not about the purpose its about his chance to get a visa he never been in the US never apply for a visa , dont have any relatives in the US he wanna try his chances to get a visa only ?????

Hi, Last August 07, I have applied for 140 & 485 and have a priority date of Feb 2005. I got married in July 08. Now, I can't apply 485 for my spouse as dates are not current. My 140 got approved. I am just worried that My 485 might get approved before I could apply 485 for my spouse. And no one knows when 485 date will be current again. Any ideas? Any one is in my situation?

I and my wife are on EAD here and my wife had to go to India urgently on an Advance Parole that was expired last month. Can I apply for the AP renewal for her while she is in India, so that she can come back without any problems? Please let me know what options do I have. I am hoping that she would not be out of status or staying illegally here. Any answers would be very much appreciated. Thanks all.

Is there a time limit for one to travel on Advance Parole. I was told that if a person travels abroad and intends to enter using AP, the maximum time allowed is 6 weeks, is this true?

He will have to file labor again.
Few things to note:
� It does not matter if he is PhD or not, what matters is that the job for which his company will be applying his Labor justifies a Masters or PhD. If he qualifies, then yes, go ahead and file a new labor.
� New labor is not as fast to get approved as was earlier. It is taking from anywhere 12-14 months now a days to get it approved. It is only after labor approval that you can port.

I think it can be. When starting the employment based GC process, one of the question asked was ... has any family member ever applied for your immigration petition in the past. Just an educated guess... check with an attorney

There are websites that the US consulates maintain listing the case numbers with their status. I am currently waiting for my H-1B visa petition decision in hyderabad. Below is the link the website maintained by the US consulate in hydererabad. There are similar websites for other US consulates in India

You need to make a visit to the nearest uscis office tomorrow morning and give them the details and preferably get that second AP application withdrawn or cancelled or whatever.
Now did you receive just the approval notice for the first AP or did you actually get the AP document? Make sure you got the actual AP document (the one with the photo, etc.).
Good luck. I think you should be fine.
